In times of a pandemic, habits have completely changed, and a homemade routine has taken over all of us. And with this new reality, we started to turn our eyes to the small screens of cell phones, tablets and computers and there was a significant increase in the consumption of movies, series and digital content. So I decided to bring you my favorite series tips.
I've always been a fan of good series, and in this article I decided to list some that I watched and liked the most. I will make superficial comments about the series and it may contain some spoilers, but I will just stick to a general brushstroke.
Relevant, epic, supernatural, historical, mysterious themes. There's something for all tastes, and since I'm very eclectic, I ended up liking several styles of series that were totally different from each other, but all of them were very good. some have been discontinued, and others have already reached the end of the plot.

This series was a super production with a beautiful story, based on the books A Song of Ice and Fire by writer George Martin. The plot tells the story of the seven kingdoms of Westeros, which lived in constant disputes for the iron throne, which would be the king of all other kingdoms.
The story has several developments of disputes between traditional and powerful houses, intrigues and a lot of fighting. There is also a mix of fantasy beings like dragons, and the white wanderers, who were supernatural beings who had the power to bring the dead back to life.
It addresses controversial issues such as incestuous relationships, political arrangements, murder organizations, robberies, manipulations. It is a very complex and surprising series, and this would not fail to be among my favorite series.
This was a series that I started to see a little discredited, but that soon fell into my graces becoming one of my favorite series. It is based on a Canadian novel called Anne of Green Gables. the drama tells the story of an orphan girl, who was adopted by a couple of old brothers who lived on a farm, Green Gables. The farm was in a small town, with all its customs and traditions.
As the plot unfolds, themes such as prejudice, friendship, innocence and outdated customs set the stage for this beautiful and very well constructed story. Young Anne, with all her wit and talkativeness, was able to influence and change everyone in a positive way.
It's a very exciting series that totally deviates from the exhaustive narratives we've seen lately. I felt very happy and positively surprised with the whole unfolding of the story. A pity that new seasons will not be made, ending in the third, still with several loose ends.

Another very good series, and it was the first one I watched until the end. It has as its initial theme, a brother who, to save the skin of the other who was innocently arrested and would be executed, sets up a way to be arrested together with his brother, and architects a sensational escape from a maximum security prison.
The protagonist is a civil engineer, and tattoos the plan of the entire prison on his body, and creates a sequence of well-planned steps, which would be executed in a predetermined timeline.
As a side effect, the brothers end up having to take other criminals with them during their escape, which would trigger several later events, and would culminate in a large and powerful criminal organization that was infiltrated in the government.
It's really worth watching this brilliant series full of unexpected facts. It is excellent to see all the insight of the civil engineer, who had a brilliant mind, and was able to always be 2 steps ahead of everyone.
A spin-off series from the acclaimed The Vampire Diaries. This plot tells the story of the brothers who were the first vampires that ever existed, the original vampires.
The story begins when the mother of these young people, who was a sorceress, creates a spell to make her children immortal. However, there is one of the children, who was already a werewolf, and becomes the first vampire-werewolf hybrid.
It is a mystical and bloody story, with random romances and filled with a lot of mystery and blood. The plot mixes vampires, witches, werewolves, werewolf hunters and vampires, in a plot full of suspense and a lot of carnage, in the wars between all these supernatural factions.
